Westphalian Line Infantry

Here are some photos of Westphalian line infantry by two different manufacturers, Old Glory and Battle Honors. They were painted a few years ago. I think both types are nice figures well animated, also fairly compatible in terms of scale.

I'm going to Spain in a few days with two of my sons for World Youth Day.August 15th to the 22nd. I'll try to squeeze in a post or two before we go. While we're there this blog will turn into a travel blog rather than a wargaming one. Bye for now. BHS.

Suddenly the ability to post photos has returned! So this post will be short just to complete the rebel photos I wanted to put up.

ACW collection

For years I was strictly a 15mm Napoleonic guy but thanks to my friend Tim my eyes have opened and my hobby horizons have broadened considerably. Now the collection includes 6mm Naps,10mm WSS, 10mm WW2, 10mm German barbarians, 15mm ACW, 15mm HYW, 12mm Ottoman, 28 mm Indian Mutiny,28mm Pulp Figures and I'm thinking about starting a 28mm Napoleonic army(foolishly). I'll try to post pictures of them all in the next few weeks.

Today I thought I would post a few photos of my ACW collection. These were painted in the late'90s when we lived in Prince Rupert. They are mostly Old Glory figures with a smattering of FreiKorps 15s and AB.

It appears that my blogging tool has now stopped allowing me to post pictures. Confederate troops were up next but no matter what I do they won,t post. BHS.

Mutineer Miniatures

I took a few pictures today of some Mutineer miniatures I painted a few months ago. I purchased them to see how they painted up. Overall excellent sculpts well proportioned and easy to paint. The photos were taken with my son Joes' video camera outdoors by the woodshed.

EIC command group. The figure in the center is supposed to be holding a flag but one day it disappeared from my painting table a victim I suspect of my 5 year old sons interest in Dads toy soldiers.I'm still looking for it. Also this pack was supposed to contain a drummer but I ended up with two buglers instead.

Bad Mashes.

I hope you enjoy the pictures. BHS.
